I’m a Registered Practitioner of Chinese Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience in both the UK and Australia. I specialise in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and integrative approaches to long-term health – with a particular focus on digestive issues, hormonal health, and complex or chronic conditions.

I originally trained at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, earning degree-level qualifications in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (BHSc). It’s one of the most rigorous and respected Chinese Medicine programmes in the West, and my training included Western medical sciences, clinical diagnosis, pharmacology, and patient-centred counselling.

Since returning to the UK in 2010, I’ve continued to deepen my practice with advanced training in:

• Master Tung Acupuncture with Susan Johnson

• Distal Needle Acupuncture & Medical Pulse Diagnosis (MPD) with Robert Doane

• Clinical internships with renowned herbalists Steven Clavey and Tran Nga, specialising in fertility, gynaecology and internal medicine

In addition to clinical work, I currently serve as President of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) – the UK's leading regulatory body for professional herbalists. I also sit on the Board of the European Herbal & Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (EHTPA) and act as an Honorary Advisor to the King’s Centre for Integrative Chinese Medicine.

My approach is rooted in classical principles but informed by a modern, evidence-aware perspective. I draw on both the ancient diagnostic frameworks of Chinese Medicine and the insights of contemporary science to create treatments that are both personalised and practical.

Before training in medicine, I studied Environmental Science and have always been fascinated by systems – whether ecological or physiological. That same curiosity drives my ongoing study of Chinese Medicine, where the patterns of the body, mind, and environment intersect in such profound ways.
